Jack Frost

Jack Frost came to visit me
Yesterday again,
He left his painting in my room
Upon my window pane.

It must have taken quite a while
To form such a design,
I know that when he left it there,
That it was only mine.

He paints one for everyone,
They're never quite the same,
The only trouble is, not all look
Upon their window pane.

For it is part of natures scene,
Those pictures made of frost,
And most can't take the time to look,
And their pictures then are lost.

But, I will look each chilly morn
Upon my window pane,
And someday soon he may return
To paint it once again.
